menurut beliau,kejadian itu berlaku semasa beliau ditugaskan untuk membuat 1 penerbangan ihsan bagi menghantar jenazah seorang ulamak terkenal tanahair dari Kuala Lumpur ke sebuah negeri di Utara tanahair.
dari penceritaan,beliau amat takjub kerana sepanjang perjalanan,pesawat itu dipayungi oleh awan sedangkan pada waktu itu cuaca panas terik dan ini disaksikan juga oleh krew-krew lain dalam pesawat itu.
“itulah ana paling takjub.Ana anya kawan2 ana,mereka juga kata tak pernah alami kejadian sepertu itu.Masya Allah! awan sentiasa payungi pesawat yang bawa allahyarham daripada terkena terik matahari ” kata beliau.
“ana tahu,jenazah yang ada dalam pesawat itu seorang ulama.Ulama ini membuat kerja2 dakwah,suruh orang berbuat baik,jauhi mungkar…tiba2 hati ana terdetik,ulama ini seorang Islam.Ana lihat ada kebenaran dalam Islam.” katanya lagi
“selepas tengok awan pelik dari mula sampai akhir penerbangan,ana beritahu rakan Muslim dalam pesawat,ana nak masuk Islam,ana betul2 kagum dengan kebesaran Allah ujar bekas pilot itu lagi yang sebelumnya tidak pernah terfikir untuk menukar agama nenek moyangnya.
Menurut wartawan yang menulis artikel ini,sebenarnya beliau juga merupakan seorang sukarelawan dan turut membantu menguruskan jenazah ulama terkenal itu sebelum dibawa menaiki pesawat.

Wartawan itu juga mengatakan yang beliau amat terasa bangga a[abila melihat jenazah turut di iringi anggota polis ke pangkalan TUDM Subang.
Mengikut wasiat ,almarhum mahu jasadnya disemadikan di madrasah yang menempatkan sebuah kolej pengajian Islam di negeri kelahirannya..
Siapakah ulama tersebut? Tidak dinyatakan namanya tetapi banyak fakta2 yang menarik berkenaan ulama tersebut yang boleh membawa kita mengenali siapakah beliau. Antaranya :
1. Beliau merupakan seorang yang terkenal yang berjuang atas nama Islam.
2. Beliau meninggal dunia akibat serangan sakit jantung 6 tahun yang lepas di sebuah Hospital di Kuala Lumpur
3. Jenazah beliau diterbangkan ke sebuah negeri di utara dengan pesawat Hercules TUDM daripada airport Subang. Selain itu jenazah beliau juga diiringi oleh polis.
4. Disemadikan di sebuah madrasah negeri kelahiran beliau sesuai dengan wasiat beliau.
5. Ribuan rakyat hadir dari seluruh pelusuk negara untuk memberi penghormatan terakhir kepada beliau, sehinggakan setiap orang yang datang berebut-rebut hendak mengangkat jenazah beliau.
Itulah antara fakta2 yang dinyatakan tentang jenazah ulama tersebut. Saya yakin, berdasarkan fakta2 tersebut, ulama yang dimaksudkan ialah Almarhum Ustaz Fadhil Nor, mantan Presiden PAS. Almarhum meninggal dunia akibat serangan sakit jantung di HUKM pada 23 Jun 2002.
Almarhum disemadikan di Madrasah Darul Ulum, Pokok Sena, Kedah negeri kelahirannya. Jenazah Almarhum diterbangkan dengan pesawat Hercules TUDM di Subang dan tiba di airport Kepala Batas dengan disambut lebih 20,000 orang.
Ramainya orang yang datang untuk memberi penghormatan terakhir kepada Almarhum sehinggakan jalan raya sesak teruk lebih 20 km.
Kesan kesesakkan tersebut telah bermula dari tol-tol yang menghala ke Kedah, dan orang ramai terpaksa berjalan kaki ke Darul Ulum sejauh 10 km. Subhanallah.
Cerita awan memayungi pesawat yang membawa jenazah Almarhum Ustaz Fadhil Nor ini mungkin baru kita dengar. Dan ia diceritakan oleh pilot yang membawa kapal terbang tersebut.
